As the co creator of YogaYak I find it truthfull to share with people my quest for health and happiness. I had no interest with yoga or healthy eating before I discovered Yoga. I aspire to practice it's physical aspect more often and take enjoyment with the fact that any yoga done, any yoga seen and any yoga thought is already a step, twist or bend in the righter direction.
Fasting, yoga and yagayak will be great subjects for an on cam discussion. I've asked Kavita to participate in an online chat and she has accepted. I'm a big fan of hers and I know many people that would love to do teacher training with her!
Weekly Progress
It's been a week I've been craving yoga. I find it very difficult to get on to a mat, when i am away from home. It is easier to go for a run, but it is not the same. So, I found this short class from Yoga Yak, http://www.yogayak.com/breathofjoy and it is great to get some clarity and peace of mind. Only 8 minutes. I would love to download some of the other the classes to my ipod and take it with me to the park. Does anyone know how I can do that?
Yogi on the Go
After practicing daily yoga in my beautiful studio, in Montezuma Costa Rica, I am terrified to leave for Turkey for six weeks. I have never done yoga in Turkey, so I depend on YogaYak, to start my home practice and I am happy to share my experience on this blog here. If you have any recomendations, please drop me a line. I practice hatta yoga and currently struggling with hip openning poses:)

Yoga & Sciatica
Sciatica is a painful condition characterized by symptoms ranging from sharp pain through the lower spine, a stabbing sensation in the buttock, to knee or ankle pain, or even numbness or burning in the leg. Sciatic pain is common in individuals with lower back problems, the obese, pregnant women, and the elderly. Yoga can, however, provide relief from this condition which causes temporary but acute pain in nearly every adult at some point in their lives; sciatica can however cause debilitating pain if left untreated.
